Interval training is a good way to achieve all of these goals in a safe and systematic manner.
Our Warrior X-Fit program provides adults who are not interested in joining our traditional martial arts program another opportunity to reach their fitness goals.
Warrior X-Fit is a unique interval conditioning program comprised of a series of dynamic exercise routines. Developed by Martial Arts Legend and 8th Degree Black Belt Chief Master William Clark(1976 Professional Karate Association Fighter of the Year), this fitness program was designed to supercharge your fitness, boost your metabolishm and burn off fat so students can start reaching their fitness goals. Warrior X-Fit utilized the best components of various fitness principles which include:
High Intensity Training - The fundamental principles of High Intensity Training (HIT) are that exercise should be brief and intense. The exercise portion is less than 20 minutes and Warrior X-Fit recommends doing the maximum number of reps during a workout to maximize intensity.
Muscle Confusion - This principle is all about ensuring you have variety in workouts to avoid you muscles becoming used to an exercise. The Warrior X-Fit Program consists of 186 different exercises to ensure no one exercise is repeated during the course of the month.
Tabata Training - A Tabata workout (also called a Tabata sequence) is an interval training cycle of 20 seconds of maximum intensity exercise, followed by 10 seconds of rest, repeated without pause 8 times for a total of four minutes. Warrior X-Fit utilized a 20 second exercise segment with mazimum intensity, followed by a 10 second rest interval.
Periodization- An organized approach to training that involves progressive cycling of various aspects of a training program during a specified period of time. The Warrior X-Fit workouts were specifically sequenced to cycle intensity to ensure maximum gains and that someone does not become "burnt out" or "over-trained".
No other fitness system offers such a comprehensive or encompassing system. We combine both class instruction as well as online tools to help measure and track your progress. By utilizing the proprietary tracking system Warrior X-Fit has created it helps to ensure a student's success.
Our class format is high energy and structured for people of all fitness and skill levels. Classes are taught by Nationally Certified ATA and Warrior X-Fit Certified Instructors who are also trained martial artists.
The ATA is constantly researching fitness training to add new techniques to keep class exciting and challenging. Realizing that many adults are apprehensive abourt trying new workouts, our freindly and considerate instructors are adept at making you feel comfortable and confident.
